ICSHMO is calling all atmospheric and oceanic scientists to submit abstracts for the 2025 Conference taking place in Cape Town, South Africa. Submissions are welcome across all meteorological and oceanographical topics. This conference has a very inclusive nature and all submissions are peer-reviewed.

Guidelines

  • To submit your abstract please have your abstract on hand including a title and authors with affiliations.
  • We will also be requesting a profile image and short biography for the presenter(s).
  • Submissions should be 250 words or less.
  • The abstract should be submitted under the primary contact/presenters’ details as all notifications will be sent to the email address provided on the profile.
  • You will be able to choose from the following presentation types:
    Talk
    Poster
  • Presenters will be provided with details about the length of their talks and size of posters in the acceptance communication.

General Information

All abstracts must be submitted in English or accompanied with an English version.

Abstracts should 250 words or less.

All completed abstracts will be reviewed. You will be informed by email of the acceptance status of your abstract by 4th December.

All presenters are required to register and pay the conference registration fee in order to be included in the program and to present on site. Registration and payment of registration fee by presenters of accepted abstracts must be completed no later than the 31st January 2025.

By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication in conference proceedings or similar by ISCHMO.

Presentation details such as length, timing and preparation instructions will be advised upon acceptance.
